Network and Systems Administrator, IT

Job Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports to: Director, Information Technology
Hours of Work: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call support required 24/7
Location: Our Toronto Offices

Objective: As a member of the GreenSaver IT Department, you will be afforded an opportunity to help shape the future of the systems and infrastructure used to support our business. You will work closely with external support vendors, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our end users, while maintaining high availability of our systems, all while working in an environment with opportunities to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Network support, including firewalls, network switches and routers, site-to-site VPN
  • Manage IT help desk staff and response to network incidents.
  • Source and configure new equipment for network as required
  • L1 Telephony Support, including SIP and PRI support
  • L2 support for CRM /office network and remote workers.
  • Network diagramming, maintenance and other administrative tasks as required
  • Data security, backup and recovery as per DR plans
  • Supporting and administering systems in an ITSM environment
  • Manage and administer Azure Active Directory, SQL, SAGE accounting  and Office 365
  • Maintain Active directory and domain controllers
  • Liaise with external vendors on projects as assigned by the Director, Information Technology
  • Other responsibilities as assigned and required by the Director, Information Technology


Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Administration experience with SAGE Cloud product
  • Expert with Windows Azure, Azure AD and ADFS
  • Good Knowledge of Office 365/G Suite/SharePoint/One Drive/Power BI/Adobe Illustrator
  • Ability to work with Devex programming language
  • Working ability with Avaya IP Office systems including voice mail and queue management
  • Familiarity with TELAX call centre administration
  • Working knowledge of Apple IOS and Android mobile device operating systems
  • Expert with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008-2016
  • Administration experience with Cisco Meraki routers and Switches
  • Understanding and experience supporting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

  • CCNA Certification highly desired
  • MCSE Certification highly desired
  • ITIL v3, Network+ and A+ Certifications an asset
  • PowerShell scripting highly desired
  • Documentation and ticketing systems experience (SYSAID preferred)

Energy Assessment Coordinator

Reporting To:  Manager, Service Coordination

Objective:

Energy Assessment Coordinator (EAC) coordinates and schedules residential energy assessment for Customers (Cx) with internal/external energy advisors. The EAC fulfills Client/Customer/GreenSaver needs by scheduling audits in a timely, efficient with optimal utilization of staff to meet program requirements while providing superior Customer Service to all parties.  EAC is responsible to provide best suited and expedited resolutions to any cancelled, altered or conflicting bookings while acting as a liaison between Customers/Energy Advisors ensuring ideal resolution & maintaining high customer satisfaction.  EAC will ensure all interactions embody high customer satisfaction & excellent service standards.  EAC is the primary contact for all energy assessment scheduling inquiries, service issues or conflicts.

Greensaver’s Energy Assessment Team is responsible for scheduling all audits for our energy conservation programs. We are the primary contact for all energy assessment scheduling inquiries, service issues or conflicts. We also provide exceptional customer service and manage the smooth day-to-day deployment of our internal and external advisors. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage, organize, schedule and coordinate all aspects of energy audits for multiple programs with internal and external Energy Advisors
  • Organize and monitor all Energy Advisors’ schedules to ensure program coverage, optimal utilization, capacity planning and route costing
  • Scheduled Cx Energy Assessments in database, provide essential program/home visit information to Cx’s and subsequent Cx details to Energy Advisors
  • Ensure bundling of appointments/route optimization to improve customer service, reduce travel time, increase productivity and decrease operating expenses
  • Communicate and resolve scheduling issues/cancellations/delays with Cx’s and Energy Advisors
  • Manage large inbound/outbound call volume and provide timely, thorough responses to all calls, email inquiries and voicemail messages. Responses include: providing detailed information about audits/services, booking appointments, resolving complaints, escalating issues to Energy Assessments Manager, as required.
  • Deliver superior Customer Service leveraging best practices in time and project management
  • Clearly identify problems and either resolve or escalate appropriately
  • Problem-solving with a solution oriented focus, decision-making, prioritizing duties and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurately input client data into various databases, maintains records: Quality assurance of information and paperwork associated with customer files
  • Provide excellent customer service, represent GreenSaver as a leader in the industry
  • Scheduling of appointments for many different programs and Assessment types
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time from Energy Assessment Manager, as required

Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ work experience in coordinating “in-field” home services projects (personnel/staff/clients) or similar with knowledge in residential and/or commercial sectors
  • 2-3 years Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrable experience in managing/organizing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Perform effectively under pressure and thrives on challenges while being solution oriented
  • Experience in providing customer service excellence and helpful attitude
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Client management database experience
  • Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with team members (internal/external) in a demanding environment

Energy Advisor, Field Services

Greensaver is looking for individuals to complete assessments for Residential customers in Ontario. If you enjoy meeting people, being active in the community and are interested in the energy conservation industry we would like to meet you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct basic energy assessments in residential homes and buildings following program protocols and standards
  • Collect detailed & accurate on-site data collection forms, measurements, and photos and submit completed files within required timelines
  • Interact with homeowners, building managers, and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency, conservation programs and other related topics
  • Install energy savings measures such as LED light bulbs and other energy savings devices (i.e., power bars, block heater timers, low flow aerators, and pipe wrap, etc.), as applicable to the Conservation Program in which participation has been confirmed
  • Adhere to assigned assessment schedules, arrive on location in a timely manner and with all required equipment  
  •   Provide a high level of Customer Care and Service
  •    Other duties as assigned, from time to time, by the Manager, Energy Evaluations and/or the Supervisor, Energy Evaluations

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Minimum High School Diploma (a post-secondary education will be considered an asset)
  • Certified Energy Advisor certificate is an asset (but not required)
  • Excellent Customer Service and Computer skills as well as a Professional demeanor
  • Knowledge or experience in Building Science, Home Construction or Home Inspections is a benefit
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to engage businesses in funded energy conservation opportunities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, highly organized, attention to detail with a positive attitude and interest in the Energy and Environment sectors
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and Web Based Applications with an aptitude to learn internal software and relevant applications
