The Enbridge Gas Home Winterproofing Program provides eligible participants with a free home energy assessment and energy efficient upgrades to increase your home comfort, lower energy use and benefit from having a warmer & healthier home. 


If you qualify, you can receive:

  • Draft Proofing
  • Insulation
  • Smart Thermostat

Eligibility Details

The program is offered to qualifying low-income private single-family households and to social housing providers and residents in the Enbridge and former Union Gas service area. You must meet the following criteria to qualify:

1) Your house must be heated by natural gas

2) You must be an Enbridge or former Union Gas customer and pay your own natural gas bill

3) Your home must be built before 1980

4) Your household income (before tax income of all household members 18 yrs or older) is no more than the amounts on the following chart:
